SPEC MIX^® Underground Utility Mortar (WI DOT)

SPEC MIX® Underground Utility Mortars (WI DOT) are dry, preblended mortar mixes containing Portland cement, hydrated lime, and dried masonry sand formulated for superior bond and outstanding freeze-thaw resistance in all underground precast concrete structure applications. TCC Materials® Underground Utility Mortars are designed to be compatible with the characteristics of the specified precast concrete structure or brick used in manhole and catch-basin construction. They are acceptable for the jointing of all types of underground precast concrete utility construction and laying concrete brick in manholes and catch basins. They may be used above or below grade when manufactured to the appropriate specification. BOM#103725 meets WI DOT specification 518.2.3 mortar proportion specification for WI DOT Stone & Pointing Mortars and also meets ASTM C387. BOM #105223 meets WI DOT specification 519.2.3 mortar proportion specification for WI DOT Catch Basin/Manhole Mortar as well as ASTM C387.
