Two Minneapolis neighborhoods are teaming up to reduce the amount of salt used to minimize water pollution by providing free bags of the alternative option, Cherry Stone Traction Grit. Residences of the East Isles or Wedge neighborhoods could claim a free bag of Traction Grit thanks to a grant from the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization.
